A short film about the daily holiday life of an enigmatic and rather luminous creature. "La journée de Milenka" is a footage of her holiday in Italy. We decided not to record it as usual footages, but instead, focus on the time and space surrounding the character. It represents a day, in the afternoon, that reflect the peace, itself represented in the slowness, which Milenka aspires (and finds) to achieve.
Notes on Summer is a 2023 short movie shot in Italy and France. It is up to you to grasp the meaning, because the meaning is always different, nevertheless, I want to dedicate this film to all those who already know what to do even before starting their holidays.
Milena Milenka Słomka was born in Poland in 1999. She starred in "Notes on Summer" (2023) and "Waiting Session (50$)" (2024). She currently resides in Poland, where she gradueded in film studies.
